Under general supervision, operates the manual welder and inspects/ensures the production of quality parts. Under general supervision, operates the robotic welder/manual welder and inspects and ensures the production of quality parts. Working 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00AM-3:15PM or 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00PM-11:15PM or 3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday, 11:00PM-7:00AM.Safety is #1 at BTD

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to run any robot while producing quality parts at an efficient rate.
- Ability to identify a problem with the robot and getting the right individual involved.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following the clean-up schedule.
- Must be able to use the computer software to clock in and out of work and in/out of jobs along with checking job count.
Graduation from high school or equivalent and a welding certificate preferred. Must have 1-year experience in recent mechanical or shop work.Experience and Skills Required:
Other related mechanical and shop experience which includes the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to understand the basic functions of the robot.
- Ability to organize and run work in a timely and effective manner.
- Strong working knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in production welding operation.
- Strong working knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions such as lights, guards, switches, etc.
- Ability to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
